Mel Wick passed on December 25, 2020 at the age of 63.

Mel was born in Tacoma Washington on July 23rd, 1943.

The family called him the Eveready Bunny, and those of you who knew Mel will agree.

He joined Rotary in Gig Harbor in 1981 and has been in the RVF since 1996.

Mel was an amazing bright light whenever he went to a rally. Members from coast to coast knew him because of all the rallies he went to. His last rally was in Frankenmuth Michigan in 2019.

Mel fought a hard battle with cancer for almost 3 years. He lived every day to the fullest even during those times. Mel’s battery started to lose its charge on December 10th, and he went into the hospital but came home to be with his family December 23rd.

His daughters Kristina Marie, Karen Elizabeth and his brother were with him until the end on December 25th, 2020
