Rotarian and fellow RVer John Hawkins passed away on February 15, 2020 after a long but private battle with prostate cancer. He was 74 years old and a husband, father and grandfather.

His professional life revolved around media. First in broadcasting in the San Francisco Bay Area as DJ, Program Director and Engineer. And later as the CEO of Advisor Media, a San Diego publishing company that provided content for software application developers in print, online and live events. John's true passion was music and he enjoyed playing keyboard in the San Diego District Rotary Cogs band.

John's wife Jeanne hopes to keep RVing with her fellow Rotarians.
