Peter DeNinno passed away peacefully at home in Globe, AZ on Tuesday, March 17^th, 2020 at the age of 77.

Peter was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 2^nd, 1942 and moved to Phoenix at an early age with his parents Celia and Otto DeNinno.

On August 1^st, 1964 Peter married the love of his life, Carol Schweiger. Peter was a long-time member and former president of the Globe Rotary Club, RV Fellowship, a 25-year veteran and volunteer of the Globe Fire Department, member of Globe Elks Club, Cobre Valley Country Club, and the Cobre Valley Community Hospital Foundation. For several years, Peter was also a Little League coach and umpire.

In 1996, Peter retired from his law practice and was appointed as a Superior Court Judge for Gila County where he honorably presided for another 14 years until his retirement in 2010. In retirement, he and Carol continued to enjoy their shared love of travel, seeing the world, and spending time crisscrossing the country to visit their children and grandchildren – be it by horseback, camper trailer or car.

Peter was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He touched the lives of many and made a lasting impression with his quick wit, laughter, charm, honesty and endearing personality. He will be missed, yet never forgotten. Peter is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 56 years, Carol, his 4 children and his 8 grandchildren.
